This project entailed re-designing and updating the University of Nevada, Reno’s (UNR) WebCampus login page.  With this project I worked closely with the Instructional Design Team at UNR to modify the login page using the Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS).  This project utilized a lot of JavaScript code as well as CSS, image manipulation, device detection, and event handling.  One feature I added that seems to be well-liked is the random image generation that occurs when the page loads, selecting one of the various images uploaded for that season.  The web page detects the date, determines the season, then displays a season-appropriate photo on the login page.  It also has some custom-written code to display UNR Wolf Pack football-themed photos on typical game days and deploy a graduation theme one week before and after both Spring and Winter commencement.
